Ryo's

"The holy bowl of ramen has become the soul food of Japan"
The egg is just right, the yolk is soft and silky.
Ryo's has been the talk of the town as the best Ramen place in Sydney.
Trust me! This is the Ramen shop that you shouldn't miss!!!

Ryo’s  is a small wildly popular Japanese eatery at Crows Nest.
Although the place is tiny and you have to queue up for a long time
during the peak hours (especially during the weekends),
it is SO worth it!!

You can always find the Japanese menu on the wall.
And there is a list of Top 5  Ramen bowls on the blackboard.
All are great suggestions if you are the first-time Ryo's eater!!
You can also request a "house special", which is a combination of them.

A large bright orange menu. What would you have??

Here's the Top 1 Ramen that we would highly recommend!!

soy sauce flavoured (pork) soup with roast pork, nori, egg and shallots

The roast pork is perfectly balanced between melt-in-the-mouth and lean.
The noodles are nice and chewy in a thick pork soup.
Yummy!! But it maybe a bit salty for some of you :p (If this becomes the case, just ask them to tone it down for you)

Tokyo style soy sauce flavoured soup with roast pork,
egg, bamboo shoots and nori

This is the Ramen in Chicken soup which has a milder flavor.
It is a perfect choice if you dislike the fattiness associated with Ramen.

Karaage

This is one of the reasons why we love Ryo's so much!!
The most tender pieces of chicken thigh you can imagine,
deep fried and served with a squeeze of Kewpie
(We promise you can't find it in other places!!)

Gyoza

The lightly pan-fried dumplings, containing juicy pork mince.
The dough was perfectly thin, crisp on the outside.

Overall we are pleasantly surprised with Ryo’s.
The food there are perfect and at reasonable prices.
You go there for Sydney's best ramen and that is exactly what you get!!
