Madang

Are you a Korean food-lover?

Korean cuisine has become more and more popular nowadays!!!
Let's taste the wave of Korean culture in this famous Korean restaurant in town!

Sydney Madang Restaurant

It may be hard to find this place if you are the first-timers, walk up Pitt Street from the intersection at Liverpool Street and its down the alleyway next to #373 on the left. You can easily notice it by the long queue.

 Banchan

Each time they serve you with different complimentary side dishes for free, such as crispy fresh spring onion, bean sprouts, cold mashed potato ‘salad', sweet salty potato chunks, kimchi and etc.
Our all time favorite - kimchi!! Want more?? Just ask the friendly staff to refill :)

Korean BBQ

We suggest you to order the 'Meat Platter' as it contains a bit of everything - prawns, octopus, marinated pork, chicken, beef and bulgogi.

All the meat are well marinaded and they are really tender and juicy.

However, it is quite smoky, so be prepared to smell like BBQ when you leave :p

Seafood Pancake

You gotta TRY this one!!It's made by the octopus, shallots, chives and etc.Unlike other Korean restaurants, it is so crispy and delicious!!
If you can't decide between the small and the large, our suggestion is order the small one as appetizer.

Dukbokki

A hot and  spicy rice cake with prawns, mushrooms, octopus, carrots, cucumber and melted cheese. You can hardly find this unique combination in elsewhere.
Chewy texture with melted cheese on the outer layer - you gotta love it!!!

While it is somewhat overcrowded, the taste of the dishes is great at affordable prices and the service is reasonable.

Our advice -  arrive early for the dinner to miss the queue or just go for lunch.
